Wow

So I pissed off the Korean lady cashier at the gas station last week.

Cashier: Where are you from?
Me: California (knowing damn well the answer she was looking for)
Cashier: No, I mean where is your family from?
Me: Both of my parents were born in California.
Cashier: *Gives me a dirty look*
Me: Oh, my grandparents immigrated from Korea and Japan *trying my best to look innocent*

Cashier just glared at me. Now she won't talk to me.

I don't know why I found it funny...
